Salsa or Bachata, anyone?
Salsa
Salsa is a truly addictive and prevalent form of Latin social dance. It has similarities to dance styles such as Mambo and Cha Cha. Many places and clubs in Los Angeles cater to Salsa dancing, a fun and energizing way to spend any night out. Salsa often incorporates shimmies, leg work, arm work, body movement, spins, body isolations, and hand styling.
Bachata
Bachata is about connecting with your dance partner. Another popular Latin dance in Los Angeles, Bachata music can be found in many of LA’s best Latin clubs. It originates from the Dominican Republic with African influences and has similarities to Salsa, Merengue, and Cumbia. Bachata can be a very seductive, romantic, and playful dance.
